March
My 'second' birth month. My rebirth month.
I began estrogen and my eyes opened to the world. The clouds shifted and the sun came out. Suddenly I could laugh, I could cry...
I could FEEL.

I could never see anything but grey in the world. That's all I could see and thus all I knew!
I suddenly found a vibrancy in the world... Colours!
A reason not to just stop.

But who/what am I? Who/What could I be?

Roleplaying – An Aspect Revealed

10/12/2015

In my early teen I played a lot of roleplaying games with some close friends of mine. It was great fun! Create a character. Be that character. Play through a fantasy world.

I didn’t dare have my first character, in front of my closest friends, be female. The option never ‘taken off the table,’ but only ‘creepy’ people played as the “opposite sex.” I didn't think I was a creep, but it just felt I could play a female character... better... ?!

So I created Edgar. He was much loved, but just a character; driven, like I was, in third person. He died, it was 'tragic'… but then I got to make a new one!

Then came Allessea (A-Le-Si-A). I had done it. I had opened a flood gate and so much poured forth. I found myself writing tomes about her; her life, her loves and her soul. It wasn’t as if I was a creative writing type either. She just sprung forth as if a Jill in a box on her last wind.

Then the game ended. She was gone again. As quickly as I had appeared, I vanished.
