There were so many people who didn't make it to check out our exhibition last year when we opened during the Feast Festival. We've been very lucky to have the opportunity to go again - this time for a month at the South West Community Centre at 171 Sturt Street, City. You can pop in anytime to look at our digital art, poems and short stories... or come along to the opening next weekend.
We're super excited to host some additional stories from last year's 'Out at the Museum' including some poignant anecdotes from the Feast Queer Youth Drop-In. Our re-boot opening is Saturday 25th March from 5-8pm... There will be drinks and nibbles available and opportunities to ‘dress up’ your own gender-expression! Zines $5, fabric patch-art from German activist Yori Gagarim $1, plus community clothes swap/exchange… On Saturday 1st April from 3-4pm there will be an additional opportunity to meet some of the artists involved... and see many other colourful people and activities as part of the South West Community Centre's open day. Please share our invitations with friends, family and work colleagues!
