In the journey from born-digital, to made material, back to pdf, and now in digital flip page form... are there any other ways to engage with our stories?

Some of you may recall I brought back a motley collection of hand-printed gender-queer fabric patches... I thought they'd make super-cool prayer flags or I could stitch them onto favourite old t-shirts. I donated them to our raffle and optimistically got in touch with Yori to ask if they could send us a bigger box to display/sell at the exhibition opening. When I picked them up today I think the lady in the post-office was a little shocked by the stickers... ...although I'm not sure whether it was 'ethical sloth' or 'my gender? none of your *^#! business.' Anyways... the contents are more awesome-ness... Perhaps we could sell some of Yori Gagarim's fabric patches and stickers at forthcoming events? With some zines? I know I'll be trying not to buy the whole box.
You can see some of Yori's other works on instagram and facebook... We had such a fabulous launch last weekend... I made this small slideshow out of the beautiful photos taken by our excellent Squidge Pangaro. If you like I can make it downloadable? I'm so proud of us! Did everyone get a couple of copies of the zine? If not, message me and I'll post you one. Here is a digital version. Now it remains to discuss... what next? Is all your recent work visible on your blog and the gallery? Have you shared the link with friends? Are there any service providers that we should gift some physical zines to?
And what do you think we should do with the work. It's currently stored at the Feast Hub... do you each wish to claim your own work or shall I consider approaching other spaces for further display? So, at 430 last Friday afternoon I opened an email from 'Tenth and Gibson' that revealed they are being shut down by Council for various violations of local zoning: It seems that council has received some complaints about events at our space, and has suspended our liquor license indefinitely until the matter is resolved. They have also ordered us to cancel any upcoming events after 6pm. We have been in heated talks with them, however they are unwilling to budge on their stance in the mean time. Obviously, this directly affects your opening night party, and we are left with little option but to cancel this event or face enforcement action by council. And so... to cut a long story short, we've been ringing around a range of other pub/warehouse/cafe spaces in the central area ever since!
Yesterday we secured a VERY EXCELLENT replacement venue - we will now be located in a 3rd floor space at the new FEAST HUB, at 'The Raj' on 54 Hyde St. City. It's a large airy l-shaped room with space for bar, DJ and dress-ups. Hanging will be tricky as there is currently no specialised picture rail or lighting... however we have additional time to 'bump in' so I'm confident it can work... There are some down sides. Firstly, it's not wheel chair accessible. This is a real drama and one that many of the other b-plan options also shared. I'm not sure whether I can do anything about this one... Secondly, they're not open on the Sunday. However we can re-schedule the artists' talk component for the Saturday afternoon when there are other events and forums in the building. Potentially this will bring more visitors our way! And offer other things for our visitors to do when they're finished with us! Parking is a bit tricky so walking and public transport options are best. Today I'm contacting our speakers to let them know about the change of venue and I'll firm up best time for the artists' talk on Saturday. Then it's back to the list... printing press and photo lab, framing shop (again). caterers, make up artists'... etc! We've got some great exhibition and website launch updates to share...
