I wanted a visual way to represent fluidity and multiplicity. This is a bit silly but I guess it’s good not to get too bogged down in probity? My favourite part is the upside down bra-moustache - I felt very disloyal feminist cutting this from a woman’s body. It was almost an act of violence… but then some lacy bras are just that. I’m not sure about the face-paint, but I wanted something immediate and tactile and not ‘pretty’.
