As a video editor, I work every day with a digital pen and tablet. It had been years since I'd picked up a pencil and paper to do some freehand sketching...but recently, I did just that.
Pictured is an evolving work in progress, which explores how my gender politics often feel at odds with my innate feeling that I should have a certain type of body.

Sharing Stories went on tour to Mt Gambier last month, on 12-13 September weekend. While there, our small Adelaide group caught up with the lovely Toby and Lauren (plus their baby daughter and L's mum), who host weekly gatherings for QUILTBAG community members in Mt Gambier and surrounds. During the workshop I grabbed them each for a quick interview. I believe Toby and Lauren will be great regional contacts to have and hope we'll catch them in Adelaide soon. |
